Why I Fell in Love With Fitness
Prior to starting my fitness journey, I had no confidence, low self-esteem and I didn’t feel good in my own body. I started working out consistently when I was 25 and it sparked something inside of me. Working out boosted my energy and confidence and with that confidence my abilities to face life’s challenges grew as well. I felt like a new person, mentally and physically. At first, it wasn’t easy but I didn’t give myself the option of quitting like I’d done so many times in the past. I was tired of feeling weak, lazy and like a failure. I knew that If I continued working out for the right reasons; for my mental and physical health, that my life would improve. And it did! I began noticing the benefits of my healthier decision making. My relationships, career and overall happiness all started to blossom. Looking back, I realize that the life and career I have today, 13 years later, all came from making one decision. The decision to start.
