It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of buying a new workout outfit, new workout equipment, or starting a new diet. But motivation isn’t enough to sustain a consistent exercise routine, especially as a beginner.
In my 10+ years of experience as a personal trainer, what truly sets those that are successful in achieving their fitness goals apart from those that aren’t, is commitment. When you’re committed to your goals, you make exercise a priority, even on days that you’re not motivated or don’t feel like it.
Remember, it’s ok to have off days, but what’s more important is sticking to your target. If you need of some extra inspiration, the best way to get it today is by taking action. Action always leads to commitment.
Let’s have great week!

Thank you for this post, Phil. It's a struggle to stay motivated sometimes, but as long as the commitment is there, the motivation will follow!
